Red Deer Workshop
Join award-winning, multi-published photographer Richard Campion for an exclusive Red Deer Wildlife Photography Workshop in Richmond Park! Capture the majestic red deer, Britain’s largest land mammal, in the heart of this stunning natural reserve. Along the way, you'll also have the opportunity to photograph a diverse range of wildlife, including fallow deer, green woodpeckers, little owls, and a variety of waterfowl—ideal for those who want to explore different subjects during the session.
Richard’s workshops are typically run on a 1-1 basis to ensure you receive tailored, expert guidance and full support throughout your experience. However, if you'd like to join with a friend, feel free to book together!
This 4-hour workshop begins 30 minutes before sunrise, offering the best lighting and opportunities for breathtaking shots. Full-day workshops are available on request for those who want to dive even deeper into their wildlife photography.

Equipment Required
Your favourite camera.
A focal length of 200mm or above would be ideal for this location.
Tripod is not essential but could be useful as we will be out for a long time and your camera may get heavy.
Warm, waterproof clothing, including walking boots.
Spare cards and batteries.

Workshop Price: £170 for a 1-1 session and £300 for 2-1 session.
Parking: There is plenty of parking on site.
Fitness: The park is expansive, and visitors can accumulate a significant number of steps, so a moderate level of fitness is recommended.
Dates: These workshops are run over the first two weeks of October. If you have a date in mind, please specify this within the booking form.
