Every three months, members will receive a new wildlife photography challenge built around a specific theme—whether that’s capturing behaviour, working in difficult light, telling a conservation story, or refining composition. These challenges are about growth, not competition: an opportunity to step outside your comfort zone, try new approaches, and develop a stronger portfolio with purpose. It’s a motivating way to stay inspired, stay accountable, and continue evolving as a wildlife photographer.
Monthly personalised image review
The Monthly Personalised Image Review gives every member the opportunity to submit one image per month for a private, professional critique. You’ll receive tailored feedback on composition, light, timing, and storytelling, along with practical editing suggestions—and in some cases, a screen-recorded walkthrough so you can see exactly how I would refine the image. The goal is not only to strengthen the photograph you submit, but to give you clear guidance on what to focus on and improve in future shoots. With your permission, I may also share the image and feedback within the members’ area so others can learn from the review as well.
The story behind the image
In The Story Behind the Image, I select one photograph each month and take you beyond the frame to share the full story behind it. I’ll talk through the location, the conditions on the day, and the challenges I faced, as well as the emotional intent I had when creating the image. You’ll also gain insight into the technical decisions that shaped the final result—and, just as importantly, what I would do differently if I were capturing it again today.
