Dipper Workshop
Join Rich for an unforgettable photography experience capturing Britain’s only aquatic songbird, the Dipper. Over the course of these exclusive 1-1 workshops, you'll have the choice to photograph these fascinating birds in either two of the following UK locations: East Devon and the Derbyshire Dales.
With years of experience working closely with Dippers, Rich has honed an in-depth understanding of this charismatic birds behaviour and developed the fieldcraft required to get you up close, while ensuring minimal disturbance.
Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just starting out, Rich will be by your side to offer expert guidance tailored to your skill level.
These sessions begin just before sunrise, lasting around 4 hours, ensuring plenty of time to capture a wide variety of images.

“Recently I spent a morning with Richard in the Peak District photographing Dippers and had a wonderful morning. Richard knew exactly where to go to find this beautiful bird and he helped me capture some great images. He is a cheerful, has a very positive but relaxed approach and really good company. He does not take his own camera on these sessions but devotes the entire time to assisting his clients. Excellent value and very enjoyable.” - Tony Banks
