Beginner Wildlife Photography Workshop

Knowing where to start with wildlife photography can be really confusing and trying to develop your photography skills whilst also learning how best to photograph your subjects can be a real challenge, so I have designed this workshop to make that process easier.

We will work on a 1-1 basis and focus on the ‘easier to find’ subjects, so that we can be out in the field discussing all things wildlife photography, from camera settings to field craft.

I am based in Devon and therefore it makes sense for these workshops to be offered here, that said I travel a lot and if you’re interested please contact me with your location and I will let you know if I am planning on being in that area.

What Previous Participants Said

“I booked the beginners workshop and also had a 3 day workshop in the field with Richard . I enjoyed every minute and gained experience and confidence to progress forward with my photography. Richard is highly knowledgeable and professional , he is passionate about his work and has a genuine understanding and respect for the wildlife he works with. Can’t recommend Richard highly enough he is a fantastic mentor who will go the extra mile to help you. Great company a genuine nice person looking forward to future workshops.” - Nicola Hood

“Rich is an amazing photographer and a great guy as well. Very professional and yet easy to get on with, clear with his advice and thoroughly enjoyed spending time photographing with him. If you want to develop your skills at a photographer and enjoy yourself whilst doing so then look no further than Rich. It also helped that his local knowledge meant that wildlife was present when it needed to be, which obviously is not something that can be guaranteed, but the more you know, the luckier you get! I would highly recommend him.” - Paul Saunders
