Little Owl Workshop

This workshop gives you the opportunity to spend the day in a hide in the Yorkshire Dales, photographing Britain’s smallest owl, the Little Owl.

At present the hides being used are 2 berth Simon King pop up hides, which have 2 comfortable seats inside. I can take group bookings of up to 4 people.

For morning sessions we will meet 30 minutes before sunrise and the session will last approximately 4 hours. For afternoon sessions we will meet 4 hours before sunset.

Equipment Required

  • Your favourite camera

  • A focal length of 400mm or above would be ideal for this location.

  • Tripod is required.

  • Warm clothing and footwear.

  • Spare cards and batteries.

At a small additional cost I can lend you a Canon 7dmkii and a Canon 100-400mkii lens if you require.

Parking: There is plenty of parking on site.

Fitness: You will have an easy 2 minute walk from car to the hide.
